Actually that was one of the first “netlabels”: When mp3 become popular and broadband internet affordable and slowly available, we started virallcee.com – support the bootleg market!

Never knew illegal? legal? Doesn’t matter and nobody ever knew who’s responsible for that.. As a uncommercial cooperation with the ChicKs On Speed we were able to collect some nice music from all over the world. Some tracks were especially composed or remixed for virallcee by artists like Discopatrol, Miss Kittin, Mooner & Erkrankung durch Musique, Rosys and many more.

Viralcee started around 1998. A few years later there was too much traffic, too less money but meanwhile a lot of netlabels and site available and virallcee was shuting down.

Recently i found a backup an decided to copy the image back to the web. Proudd to present the originally viralcee.com back on viralcee.swelt.com. Streaming is no longer supported.

By the way: This is my viralcee favourite song from downunder by rosys. And of course the alltime 1000times listened to hit ‘Long Way To The Top‘ by DisCOPatrol is also back on the net!
