Sinn oder Unsinn einer funktionierenden Fahrradbeleuchtung soll hier nicht zur Disskusion stehen, Tatsache ist das es sich mit Licht am Fahrrad in der Fahrradhauptstadt München deutlich entspannter fährt, vorallem Nachts und dann an unseren Freunden & Helfern vorbei. Es ist einfach weniger Stress und ja, ein Zugewinn an potentieller Sicherheit („Gesehen werden“) ist wohl auch zu verbuchen.

Nun ist es ja so, das laut unserer StVV angeblich Fahrräder über 12kg nicht mit Batterie-betriebenen Lampen beleuchtet werden dürfen, sondern nur mit Dynamo. Klar, das macht ja auch Sinn… (??!). Dynamo geht aber halt garnicht, Reibungswiderstand, Verschleiss, etc.

Nach langen Suchen – nach „verbotenen“ Batterie-LED Lampen – habe ich den aber das ultimative Fahrradlicht entdeckt: Das Reelight aus Dänemark! 2003 gegründet wird das beste aller Fahrradlichter seit 2006 auch exportiert und kann u.a. hier z.b. als Set der Klassiker SL 150 – je nach Marktlage – ab mehr als preisgünstigen €25-30 gekauft werden! Dieses Set reicht mir Vorder- und Rücklicht an der Radnarbe voll aus. Achtung! Oft werden auch nur Vorder- oder nur Rücklicht zu quasi gleichen Preis verkauft. Wer sein Licht lieber „oben“ also am Lenker oder unterm Sattel haben möchte sollte zum SL 550 greifen, Nachteil bei dieser Variante sind die Kabel, somit also nicht mehr ganz so toll gegen Vandalismus oder Diebstahl geschützt.

Das besondere: Kein Reibungsverlust, fest montiert, immer an und funktioniert mit magnetischer Induktion – so einfach, so gut. So wie ich es mag! Seitdem bin ich stolzer Tag-und-Nacht-mit-Licht Fahrer! Achja, das Reelight lässt sich auch hervorragend als „Zweitlicht“ einsetzten, weils immer da ist und nicht vergessen werden kann, keine leeren Batterien, etc.
